有福的人」避開「這些人」的優先順序是,1. 不在他們之中來往;2. 不在他們之中站立;3. 不在他們之中坐下!這樣的順序肯定是因爲受損害的程度不同而給予不同的順序啊!

哪些人是上帝要我們避開的呢?形容詞是:1. ungodly;2. sinners;3. scornful。中文意思是:1. 不敬畏上帝的;2. 罪人;3. 一天到晚嘲笑別人的。1 跟 3 都容易理解,但是 2,我們自己不就是罪人嗎?聖經不是說一個義人也沒有嗎?那要怎麼避開呢?我自己的解釋是「打死都不願意認罪悔改的人」。

哪些人是上帝稱爲有福的人呢?「唯喜愛耶和華的律法,晝夜思想」的人,英文是「But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.」。

茂盛的葡萄樹還是空蕩蕩的葡萄樹?

茂盛的葡萄樹還是空蕩蕩的葡萄樹?

美國有不少持更正教傳統信仰的牧師說,如果要買一本聖經,最好買KJV,因爲是對照原文及許多不同版本「逐字」翻譯,在用字上,可能比較精準,今天看了一下何西阿書第十章經文,發現還真是有些差異,那麼上帝透過先知何西阿在這裏說的以色列到底是茂盛的(spreading)葡萄樹,還是空蕩蕩的(empty)葡萄樹呢?既然後文上帝必拆毀他們的祭壇,那麼前文又怎麼會是茂盛的葡萄樹呢?

葡萄樹後面這句經文也挺有意思,NIV照字面翻成中文說的是「爲他自己帶出果子」,然而KJV照字面翻成中文說的是「在他自己身上帶出果子」,兩種翻譯意思差蠻多的,個人認爲這裏講的果子,從上下文來看,不是好的果子,是壞的果子,怎麼會是「爲自己」帶出果子呢?應該是種什麼不好的因,就在自己身上結出什麼不好的果子的意思。除了從字面上了解之外,我們若是求聖靈來光照我們這章經文的本意,確實是希望上帝揀選的這特殊的子民要好好悔改啊!

不過話說回來,NIV其實意思也是說「過去」的以色列人是茂盛的葡萄樹(Israel “was" a…),或許也可以推論是,現在可能不是了,這樣意思也差不太遠,也許也不用那麼斤斤計較了。

現代標點和合本

1 以色列是茂盛的葡萄樹,結果繁多。果子越多,就越增添祭壇;地土越肥美,就越造美麗的柱像。 2 他們心懷二意,現今要定為有罪。耶和華必拆毀他們的祭壇,毀壞他們的柱像。

靠自己?

靠自己?

他們說:「來吧!我們要建造一座城和一座塔,塔頂通天,為要傳揚我們的名,免得我們分散在全地上。」【創世記 11:4 】

「為要傳揚我們的名」這句話,照 Roger Christopherson 的希伯來文本的說明解釋,其實就是「讓我們自己成爲我們自己的救贖吧!」,這句話就說明了世上所有的假宗教一貫的思想,意即「靠自己」得救。相對於這樣的思想,基督信仰完全相反,人不可能靠自己得救,救贖百分之百是出於上帝的恩典而非善功,我們回應這種百分之百恩典的救贖,無須善功,就是單純地悔改並接受耶穌成爲我們的救主。

Genesis 11:4 And they said, “Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth."

In the Hebrew text, “let us make us a great name“, reads, let us provide our own salvation." These are the same people that lived and remembered the great flood. All of the souls that lived through the flood and were on the ark were still alive during the life time of this committing of themselves to Nimrod. They knew the devastation that came upon the earth, and that it was caused by God.

They also knew that God had made a covenant with Noah that mankind would never be destroyed by flood waters again. However, they did not believe God, nor did they trust Him. They knew of Nimrod’s mighty strength, and most of the people relied on him for security, as we read in Genesis 10:8-11. They trusted Nimrod. Hitler and the Nazi’s rose to power under the same conditions, protection, security, law and order. The Germans had faith in Hitler, that he would bring peace and prosperity, however they did not consider the cost.

The people of Nimrod’s day just didn’t believe in the covenants, and instructions that God gave after the flood, and they banded together for protection from the wild animals, and relied on their tower to offer them salvation from another flood. This was their means to have access to heaven. The term “a name" in the Hebrew text manifested their independence from God, and showed their reliance on Nimrod. Nimrod’s Babylonian system is built upon a false hope of peace and salvation.

寫程式的人或多或少都有一種經驗,程式寫着寫着就到了一個死胡同或是瓶頸,那麼總是得歸回在寫程式之前原本的軟體架構設計來檢視是否符合原本的設計原則跟起初的目的,也就是所謂的 return to the source 這個動作,當我們把人生的規劃比喻成是一支程式的規劃設計及撰寫時,是否也會常常歸回到最起初的起源、設計概念或是創造目的,體察一下我們原本受造或被設計的原則跟起初的目的呢?

1 來吧,我們歸向耶和華!他撕裂我們,也必醫治;他打傷我們,也必纏裹。 2 過兩天他必使我們甦醒,第三天他必使我們興起,我們就在他面前得以存活。 3 我們務要認識耶和華,竭力追求認識他。他出現確如晨光,他必臨到我們像甘雨,像滋潤田地的春雨。【何西阿書 6:1~3】

1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. – “Hosea 6:1-3″

這段經文字面上雖然從上下文是講以色列十二支派的猶大跟以法蓮支派,但從「撕裂」、「打傷」、「纏裹」以及第一天、第二天到第三天,您是否覺得這場景似曾相識?最後又講到「晨光」、「甘雨」,是的,像極了耶穌所遇到的情境跟對於耶穌的形容,是吧?以下這段經文就更明顯了:

4 他誠然擔當我們的憂患,背負我們的痛苦,我們卻以為他受責罰,被神擊打苦待了。 5 哪知他為我們的過犯受害,為我們的罪孽壓傷。因他受的刑罰我們得平安,因他受的鞭傷我們得醫治。 6 我們都如羊走迷,各人偏行己路,耶和華使我們眾人的罪孽都歸在他身上。 7 他被欺壓,在受苦的時候卻不開口。 他像羊羔被牽到宰殺之地,又像羊在剪毛的人手下無聲,他也是這樣不開口。 8 因受欺壓和審判,他被奪去,至於他同世的人,誰想他受鞭打,從活人之地被剪除,是因我百姓的罪過呢? 9 他雖然未行強暴,口中也沒有詭詐,人還使他與惡人同埋,誰知死的時候與財主同葬。 10 耶和華卻定意將他壓傷,使他受痛苦。耶和華以他為贖罪祭,他必看見後裔,並且延長年日,耶和華所喜悅的事必在他手中亨通。【以賽亞書 53:4~10】

「後裔」一詞在KJV的聖經版本,翻譯是 Seed 或是 Offspring,意思就是源自某位祖先的後代,很多人可能不知道,從現代的DNA研究發現,漢人跟猶太人這看似無關的兩個民族事實上在DNA的遺傳是有所關聯的。那麼以賽亞書跟何西阿書還有許多處經文都提到,雅各的後代,也是亞伯拉罕的後代,要多到數不清,假設這些後代僅僅只分佈在中東地區,那怎麼可能多到數不清呢?按照聖經的預言必定成就應驗的邏輯和許多預言都已經在歷史上證實已成就的無可否認事實,雅各的後代肯定絕非僅僅分佈在中東地區而已。是吧?
